Force Protection Industries, Inc. performs contracts for the United States Government with security requirements and manufactures items regulated under the International Traffic in Arms Regulation. To comply with these U.S. Government requirements, all Force Protection Industries, Inc. employees must qualify as a "U.S. Person", defined as:
A) A U.S. citizen B) A permanent resident alien possessing a valid Form I-550 ("Green Card") C) A protected person as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
The United States Government restricts some positions at Force Protection Industries, Inc. to U.S. citizens. Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance with the Defense Security Service of the United States Government.
Expression of Interest Policy Statement
As a government contractor, Force Protection Industries, Inc. has many administrative and contractual responsibilities. To remain in compliance with Affirmative Action regulations, all expressions of interests must be surveyed for their race and gender. For these reasons, we have adopted the following expression of interest policy statement.
- All expressions of interest must be submitted via an application through our online process via the Force Protection Industries, Inc. Career Center.
- All external positions are listed with the South Carolina Employment Security Commission, www.sces.org, or the North Carolina Employment Security Commission, www.ncesc.com, and through the Force Protection Industries, Inc. Career Center.
- Applications with or without resumes can also be submitted electronically through your local South Carolina or North Carolina Employment Security Commission office or through kiosks available in our corporate headquarters main lobby.
- We will continue to accept resumes via fax or mail in the event that an electronic method is not available to you.
- Currently Force Protection does not require any additional outside recruiting support. We will retain the information we have previously received from outside recruiting agencies should the need arise for Force Protection to choose additional resources. As a courtesy, if you are not an approved vendor, please do not correspond directly with Force Protection employees outside of Human Resources regarding staffing or employment needs. If you currently do not have a 2009 agreement in place with Force Protection, please do not submit resumes for review, as they will be considered unsolicited. Force Protection will not pay a placement fee from unapproved recruiting vendors. Force Protection will only pay a contingency fee for resumes that are received after a signed agreement is in place.
